Bless Online Factions

There are currently two factions of bless online, the northern continent which lies the Hieron alliance and the southern continent which holds the union alliance

So starting off lets talk a bit about the two factions and its lore, at the core of the games story lies a rivalry of two powerful factions the Hieron alliance and the Union alliance both of which are located in one large continent.

The upper half of the continent belongs to the Hieron state and holds the captial of the kingdom "Hierakon", while the lower half belongs to the union and holds "spezia" which is the capital of the south.

The goal of the Hieron alliance (also known as the holy empire) is to unite the entire nation under it's flag, Hieron has developed tremendously as a state, successfully beating their southern rivals in technological development. They dedicated themselves to defending their own civilization for decades, and intend to continue keeping their promises. As for the southerners AKA the union,they wish to acquire power over the land and become leaders of a new era, the main goal of the union is pretty much an opposition to the north as members of the south do not wish to become a part of the holy empire, instead they intend to make the north a part of them, however unlike the north the union alliance is made of separate federations, each maintaining their own laws,rules and order.

Lore:

• Hieron:

After the collapse of the Ancient Lumen Empire and the arrival of the dark ages, the world suffered from pillaging by barbarian races such as the Orcs and Nols. But thankfully there were three heroes who valiantly came to the rescue.

They were the Northern Altoquen King, Harman Habicht; El Gradis’ Great Guarder, Tanara Eilyanthes; and the Lupus’ Mighty Warrior, Bold Batar. The three heroes, each leading their own race, went to war with Urudata, the Flag of Blood. After a long holy war they were finally able to completely drive out the barbarian races and the Elves and Lupus which were honorary citizens, were entitled to every right within Habicht territory (northern part of the continent). Both the Elves and the Lupus acknowledged the Habicht as conquerors of the northern continent and the leading power of the civilized world. Like this, the holy alliance Hiera-Basillia of the fifth era was born.

The various races under Hieron believe that in order to maintain the peace and stability achieved through the holy war, there is a need to unify the whole continent.

To make this a reality, the races are actively cooperating with the Holy Empire, which has taken on the central role of being the northern continent’s leader. 

Lore:

• Union:

The Federation of Southern Cities, Amistad, was established under the leadership of Averardo, the young head of the Sforza family, and the Duke of Navarra, Alfonso Casas.

The Amistad Federation of Cities declared their refusal to pay tax and tribute to the holy empire (Hieron), but the Habicht Empire’s Solar Emperor Guntram did not simply let this pass. 

Causing the fall war to began, the Solar Emperor Guntram commanded Padana’s margrave Vitege to immediately punish the Amistad Federation. however this attempt was unsuccessful,

Furious the empire sent a huge army to fight the union.

However, Amistad's reinforcement troops arrived, surprising the Empire, and it was in that moment that the Union, the southern continent’s alliance of races was revealed. The empire lost the war, and the Solar Emperor Guntram died.

By achieving victory in all successive wars, the alliance ended up achieving their wish of Amistad Federation’s complete independence, and recovered the whole Padana area.

The Union Alliance achieved complete victory in the fall war, and declared a perpetual military alliance with the goal of forever expelling the holy empire interference in the southern continent. This marked the start of the fifth era.
